Death Grips "Birds"

Post-Rap experimental shit that almost makes me forget about how they just didn't fucking show for a the Chicago show (which I was desperately trying to get tickets for and am now happy I didn't. Procrastination for the win!).

Good. Fuck 'em.

Death Grips "No Love"

Shit is crazy and amazing. And crazy amazing.

It is ridiculous that we live in a country where you can turn on prime time television and see countless acts of violence but you can't show a penis on the cover of an album without people freaking out about it.

Love to Death Grips-- I love 'em to death.

The Sinclair

I just heard about this new venue, The Sinclair, opening up in Boston Cambridge and I'm pretty excited about it. Especially because the upcoming shows include Titus Andronicus, The Dirty Guv'nahs and Death Grips.

Death Grips to Release Album in Fall

Death Grips' The Money Store was one of the most jarring, inspired interpretations of hip-hop I'd heard in years. When I saw their tour schedule, I had the summer date circled on my calendar. Much to my dismay, they cancelled the tour to work on another album. Luckily, the album is only a few months away from dropping, as they released a statement saying the fall of 2012 is the goal for their second release of the year.

Also, Crispin Glover was mentioned as a possible collaborator for a video. Count me in. All is forgiven, Death Grips.
