The keyboard / loner electronic project of Jarrod Quarrell, Lost Animal resonates with a deeply unsettled and somewhat homespun sensibility. "Say No To Thugs" draws on thin, programmed beats and synthesiser smears, and there's an ineffable restraint here that the Australian post-punk tradition has always just nailed.
